RWD Consulting is looking for a full-time Warehouse Worker to work on site in Gaithersburg, MD.
 

SCOPE OF WORK:

• The warehouse worker shall provide receipt, log-in, storage/shelving, retrieval, and transport of property and samples. 
• Utilize CPCS vehicles in the performance of duties.
• Assist on-site manager of Warehouse/Sample Custodian operations. 
• Assist the on-site Warehouse manager/Sample Custodian in maintaining the sample room in a professional, orderly and safe manner so that the integrity of the samples is preserved, samples may be readily shelved and retrieved location of each sample corresponds exactly to the record for the location of the sample. 
• Receive, unload, ship, store, shelve, process incoming shipments, and controls property, equipment, supplies, etc. associated with the Administrative Warehousing Program. 
• Ensure that all shipping and receiving transactions are properly documented and that quantities and contents are consistent with accompanying documentation.  Assemble items into groups based on information shown on receiving vouchers, and as required, segregate materials according to such factors as condition, type of transaction, or property class and routes along appropriate processing lines.  Select proper storage locations for items. 
• Tag item on pallets and in bin, bulk, or other storage locations, stacks, palletizes marks, and tag items being stored in the Warehouse according to their use, size, shape, quantity and possibility of contamination to or from other items. Must be aware of heights, widths, and weights of items. 
• Move items stored in the Warehouse by hand, forklift, hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment. 
• Hammers, pliers, and other hand tools to be used when opening containers, breaking wire banding, etc. 
• Frequently lift and carry materials, etc. that weigh up to 70 pounds. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have experience operating a warehouse forklift. 
• Must have a valid driver's license. 
• Have at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to read and write in English. 
• Be able to lift 70 lbs. 

SCHEDULE:

• 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday thru Thursday and 6:00am-2:30pm on Friday
