Description
Remote and telework will be authorized for contract staff residing outside the 50-mile radius of Fort Detrick.
Provides leadership and management of the governance, and refinement and application of data management design and framework with a high focus on normalization and Reusability.
Duties
- The SME designs and analyzes data infrastructure, plans database usage, and implements solutions to manage data across the enterprise application user base.
- The SME defines and supports data catalog, data dictionary and data profiler.
- The SME defines and supports sources of authoritative, derived, and referential data, supports standardized documentation (Interface Control Documents, Interface Agreements and Data standards), and reviews operational architectures, processes, and procedures to meet numerous DoD, DHA, and Federal mandates, directives, orders, and guidance in support of cloud adoption and system sustainment activities.
- The SME collaborates with and guides Engineering, Cybersecurity, Audit, Operations, Development and Sustainment teams to ensure systems are engineered, developed, and maintained with scalability, high-availability, fault tolerance, health monitoring/predictive analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Medical Logistics or related field
- 10-15 years of experience as a Data Architect Integration Lead
Database Architect-SME
- Candidate must demonstrate KSAs in LogiCole business and data tier is desired required.
- Candidate must demonstrate KSAs with Mongo, PostGres, and Oracle databases, Git and Nexus for Configuration Management and Jira and Confluence for issue tracking.
- Knowledge and understanding of Alation data governance tool and methods, desired.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps is required. DoD and/or VA Medical Supply Chain data experience, desired.
- Secret Security Clearance, required
Special Requirements
- 15 years of experience in DoD Medical Logistics or Medical Logistics Information Technology
- 10 years of experience in DoD Acquisition to include program management
- 10 years of experience in Project Management to include cost, schedule, and performance
- Experience will demonstrate external knowledge of emerging technologies, authoritative data sources and values, strategic alignment, functional dependencies, and enablers, as well as internal knowledge of legacy applications, user base, business rules, and financial interoperability
- Offeror shall provide evidence of the Offeror’s proposed Key Personnel experience in current DoD medical lines of business with a focus on DoD medical automated information systems, to include SAP knowledge and experience.
- Request candidate's experience integrating and implementing predictive logistics* using machine learning/AI techniques
- Predictive logistics is an advanced logistics management approach that leverages data analytics, machine learning, and AI to forecast and optimize various aspects of the supply chain. The goal is to anticipate potential issues and streamline operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance
