Description
Remote and telework will be authorized for contract staff residing outside the 50-mile radius of Fort Detrick.

The Enterprise Catalog Integration Lead (Computer & Information Research Scientist)-SME provides leadership, planning, direction on the use of product (supplies, equipment, consumables) authoritative, derived, and referential data.

Duties
  • The lead provides analysis on emerging technologies and analytics to streamline and standardize logistics data to support predictive logistics, enterprise metrics, data driven decisions in support of contingencies, pandemics, and day-to-day medical standard of care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Medical Logistics, or related fields
  • 10-15 years of experience as Research Scientist SME
  • Resume demonstrates KSAs on the use and application of DoD and/or VA logistics data towards the business process, required
  • Strong experience in product taxonomies and identification to include Global Trade Item Number (GTIN), National Drug Code (NDC), United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC), National Stock Numbers (NSN), and Health Industry Business Communications Council standards, required
  • Experience with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Medical Master Catalog (MMC), required
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps is required. DoD and/or VA Medical Supply Chain business process experience, required.
  • Secret Security Clearance, required

Special Requirements
  • 15 years of experience in DoD Medical Logistics or Medical Logistics Information Technology
  • 10 years of experience in DoD Acquisition to include program management
  • 10 years of experience in Project Management to include cost, schedule, and performance
  • Experience will demonstrate external knowledge of emerging technologies, authoritative data sources and values, strategic alignment, functional dependencies, and enablers, as well as internal knowledge of legacy applications, user base, business rules, and financial interoperability
  • Offeror shall provide evidence of the Offeror’s proposed Key Personnel experience in current DoD medical lines of business with a focus on DoD medical automated information systems, to include SAP knowledge and experience.
  • Request candidate's experience integrating and implementing predictive logistics* using machine learning/AI techniques
  • Predictive logistics is an advanced logistics management approach that leverages data analytics, machine learning, and AI to forecast and optimize various aspects of the supply chain. The goal is to anticipate potential issues and streamline operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance
