Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience driving a 24ft moving truck within a shipping/receiving environment
• CDL Qualified - preferred but not necessary
• Strong understanding of safety best practices
• Strong attention to detail and experience processing shipping paperwork and bills of landing; and
• DOT- Certified and physical up-to-dadte

Scheduling Details:

• Monday-Friday (7:30am - 4:30pm)

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide logistical and moving services
• Movement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for DCPS personnel including, but not limited to, classroom and office furniture, office equipment, copiers, scanners, computers, musical equipment, and vertical and lateral file cabinets
• Relocation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Miscellaneous property disposal as required
• Delivery of furniture, fixtures, equipment, shipments, and miscellaneous property to designated areas and facilities as designated by the Logistics Manager
• Driver has overall responsibility for processing all paperwork associated with the pickup and delivery of DCPS property
