Compensation: starting $70,000.00 - $82,500.00 depending on experience

Location: Fort Detrick, MD (Frederick Maryland)

An Active Secret Clearance Required and It Must Visibly Appear On Your Resume

This position is located in Fort Detrick, MD (Frederick, MD) US Army Base. 

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of one year of relevant experience
Minimum of at least 3 years of recent experience in the
resolution of escalated technical issues and help desk tickets
Possess experience with Windows based hardware, operating systems and printers
Must meet DoD 8570 requirements.

Job Duties 

2.2.1.1. Independently troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues and helpdesk tickets.
2.2.1.2. Organize, prioritize, and assist with daily technical support in organizations with different support requirements.
2.2.1.3. Troubleshoot and solve common network issues and hardware/software issues using component-level physical and logical diagnostic tools.
2.2.1.4. Identify and work independently on special projects and lead help desk projects as assigned.
2.2.1.5. Assist lower-level technicians and new team members.
2.2.1.6. Serve as a secondary/auxiliary leader on the help desk team.
2.2.1.7. Assist with maintenance of SOPs and other documentation for procedure and processes.
2.2.1.8. Update assigned trouble tickets and equipment databases.
2.2.1.9. Work with other technical teams to resolve large-scale issues.
2.2.1.10. Test new hardware and software systems and packages prior to deployment.
2.2.1.11. Assist with managing the help desk ticket queue on a daily basis; creating, routing and remedying tickets.
