Required Qualifications:

Education/ Experience
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance (NACLC)
  • BS in IT and or Business Management or other related business fields
  • Formal training in a quality process such as Six Sigma or Lean preferred
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Proven experience managing simultaneous projects
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute the channel strategy for a portfolio of accounts that are the world’s largest retailers and manufacturers
  • Manage and develop a team of Program Management analysts ensuring LSI is achieving the highest levels of return on different product lines and product condition
  • Promote and manage continuous improvement throughout the organization
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to ensure continuous improvement efforts result in high inventory velocity, increased margins, and overall efficiency within the process
  • Analyze data and communicate across LSI’s sales channels to identify opportunities to increase margins
  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations and other internal stakeholders to develop processes and services to support a variety of customer business segments

Scheduling Details:
  • 0600-1600 (Monday thru Friday)
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Support includes all related projects and associated work efforts – individual project schedules, milestones, deliverables and related requirements. Employee will be required to provide weekly updates on each of the assigned activities, build project plans utilizing the Program Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodologies, report on milestones as appropriate, report whether resources are being allocated correctly, complete risk assessments and work forecasts, and ensure all tasks and deliverables are being met. Employee will be required to manage, coordinate, facilitate, oversee, and track initiatives and projects with varying timelines and scopes using state-of the-art PM techniques for risk assessment and abatement and Program Knowledge Management (PKM).

  • Work with DHA, DHA IMO, and service MTFs to define organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities as well as change management/communications plans and help identify what IM/IT areas of interest to are not being planned, budgeted, and/or supported. This includes identification of efficiencies and improved utilization of Military Health System (MHS) funds.
  • Assist in development of strategic direction and work to evaluate current IM/IT initiatives compared to strategic planning requirements and vision.
  • Work with resources from DHA, DHA IMO and service MTFs to facilitate and develop IM/IT governance, portfolio management, and requirements management processes.
  • Provide program management support for administration, on-boarding of personnel, financial tracking and reporting, internal auditing of projects, contract management, and process reengineering efforts.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the requirements identified and needed for the DoD Electronic Health Record (EHR) including, but not limited to understanding the data elements and data exchanges among various MTFs and MHS systems to support required capabilities, in order to apply the knowledge from previous clinic information systems to the new EHR.
  • Analyze training needs, data flow procedures, performance products, and customer feedback to assess the need for new acquisitions or improved HIT processes.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise to oversee and execute workflow development and Business Process Reengineering (BPR).
  • Document and implement change management and configuration management.
  • Leverage expertise, experience, lessons learned, requirements determination, education and training, and information management/information technology (IM/IT) to provide a standard processes, procedures, and technologies.
  • Coordinate and assess efforts to verify and validate new processes, procedures and technical capabilities into the user communities Leverage expertise in the Clinical Information Systems (CIS) including existing legacy systems, the new EHR, and their interfaces with other Military Health Systems (MHS) information systems in order to support the configuration and maintenance of the systems.
  • Leverage expertise in legacy Electronic Health Record Requirements to ensure maintenance of current systems and transition to the new EHR.
