Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Local Check and Credit Check (NACLC) government security clearance
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Nursing or other health related field
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Possess and maintain at all times, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Possess a minimum of 4 years related experience
Scheduling Details:
- Core hours are between 6a - 4p (Monday - Friday)
Scope of Work/Service (tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Provide on-call support as required for rapid response to high priority issues and tasking.
- Assists in the development and implementation of patient safety programs.
- Gathers data detailing patient-related errors and conducts analysis for management detailing the cause of the error
- Recommends changes, policies, or programs that could prevent future errors.
- Attends presentations and training programs meant to increase awareness of patient safety initiatives.
- Tests patient-safety knowledge of employees and recommends changes to training programs.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
