Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a laborer in a warehousing environment
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
• Strong understanding of safety best practices and safe lifting procedures
• Strong organization skills
• Fork Lift qualified (required)
• Must be able to install furniture

Scheduling Details:

• Monday-Friday (7:30am - 4:30pm)

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide warehousing labor
• Assemble and install furniture via different types of components
• Disassemble and remove/dispose of components
• Operate fork lift; unload and remove packages fo delivered components
• Maintain internal storage of DCPS property via organization and movement of items within the warehouse
• Assist Logistics Assistant(s) with incoming and outbound shipments
• Stage and prepare DCPS property for movement and disposal
• Receive DCPS property and prepare for storage and disposal
• Perform various miscellaneous warehouse duties and janitorial duties as assigned
