Description
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Logistician
- High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of college courses or degree preferred
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated NACLC government clearance or equivalent investigation
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Serve as the principal liaison for assigned customer concerns and issues with long range supply planning and interface with appropriate supply chain owners and logistics service providers.
- Resolve or contribute to the resolution of assigned high-priority logistics, supply, distribution, information or service problems through personal action or immediate coordination with required local and AMCOM enterprise personnel/activities.
- Participate in the development of supply chain management practices for depot maintenance activities, with a focus on long range planning improvement.
- Monitor maintenance depot line stoppers and supply assistance requests (SARs) and take action when necessary to ensure long range supply support strategies are incorporated in procurement solutions.
- Recommend interim deviations from procedures and recommend alternate courses of action in resolving problems critical to current and future logistics requirements.
- At least 2 years of the foregoing total experience shall have been as a team leader or supervisor.
