Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in a warehousing environment
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in transportation, shipping, and receiving
• Intermediate proficiency in Windows XP and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service
• Strong understanding of safety and OSHA regulations

Scheduling Details:

• Monday-Friday (7:30am - 4:30pm)

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Oversee and manage the contractor warehouse and logistics labor force.
• Dispatch trucks and laborers
• Manager truck route selection
• Provide daily supervision of internal warehousemen
• Provide off-site supervision
• Manage scheduling and timesheets of labor force
• Ensure labor continuously meets standards set forth in contract
• Ensure rules and regulations are followed by labor force
• Liaison between DCPS Logistics Management and Contract Project Manager
• Provide customer service and support
• Operate computer, create reports and manage databases
