Work Shifts-Monday-Friday- 6:45am – 5:00pm and 2:30pm – 11:30pm
The Supply Technician shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this PWS. Contractor will apply knowledge of systems, techniques, and underlying management concepts for determining, regulating, and/or controlling the level and flow of supplies or equipment from initial plan through acquisition, storage, issue, and utilization, or disposal.
Objective: To procure medical support services under the Department of Human Health Agency strategic sourcing program.
Qualifications:
Mandatory knowledge and skills:
- This position requires the ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of the procurement authorization process in order to ensure that medical supplies are maintained properly and, in a cost, effective manner.
- Knowledge and understanding of all levels of governmental regulations, directives, policies, and procedures in order to administer the supply management program.
- Analytical and evaluative skills in order to review and develop technical data and specifications and determine and establish sources of manufacture; analyze and evaluate deviations to technical requirements; develop technical changes to procurement specifications packages; analyze and resolve difficult issues and problems in the inventory management supply system involving supply processes, work methods, supply data management and day to day operational procedures.
- Knowledge of the life cycle support concepts, programs, policies, and procedures of the medical supply systems in order to accomplish material coordination responsibilities.
- Planning and organization skills in order to develop and coordinate action plans and milestones that effectively monitor and ensure an effective supply program.
- Knowledge of the technical features and uses of assigned material in order to coordinate supply/ program support and resolve problems.
- Knowledge of inventory management policy, procedures, and techniques including supply planning, acquisition, storage, issue, utilization, and disposal to determine, regulate, and control the level and flow of equipment and material necessary for mission accomplishment.
