Senior Project Manager

Immediate Need
Reports to: Program Manager
Summary/Objective
RWD Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager. This position is located in Pittsburgh, PA . The Project Manager is the most senior manager and reports directly to the Program Manager. The Project Manager/Safety shall possess a bachelor’s degree in an engineering, or similar field. A minimum of at least 8 years of recent experience in the management and supervision of building mechanical maintenance operations for buildings of the approximate size and characteristics covered under the contract. Oversees the safety program, environmental compliance and Quality Control efforts for the contract to include all required documentation and ensures that the contractor is working in a safe and compliant environment while adhering to all local, state, federal, and agency specific requirements. Have the full skill set required for this role including the ability to accept and respond to notices of deductions, inspection reports, produce schedule updates, submittals, cost control, proposals for modifications and all other correspondences. The ability to act on behalf of and in the best interest of RWD in every detail during the term of the contract. To coordinate the work with the COR or assignees. The Project manager will be required to be on site during normal working hours or other as necessary to facilitate all aspects of his or her responsibilities.

- Must have STRONG experience in Mechanical Operation & Maintenance of facilities.
- The Program Manager shall keep the COR informed of any potential problems and make recommendations for solutions.
- Technical and business planning; organizing; coordinating; tracking (e.g., support cost, schedule, deliverables); managing performance; risk; subcontractors (if applicable); and resources.
- Applies an effective quality assurance mechanism over the work performed and deliverables produced and submitted to the government by self and its Quality Control team members.
- Provides and designates the Operations Manager and Technical Managers responsibilities for enough oversight, supervision, and review of the work to ensure all employees (including any subcontractors) are functioning at acceptable levels of performance and performing their designated assignments in a timely and thorough manner, and that all reporting requirements are fulfilled.
- Prepares with Operations Manager and submits a Monthly Status Report (MSR) where applicable to the COR due no later than the 10th of each month.
- Manage and understand all rules applicable to staff assigned to contract such as service contract act and/or Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Fills in on case of contingency to solve problems and mitigate risks (associated with quality management plan) to include proactive communication to worksite and/or subcontractors concerning any emergency closures and/or Government shutdowns.
- Supports execution of the change management plans, communications plans, and support training planning, coordination, logistics, execution, and post training execution functions, where applicable.
- Sr. Project Manager must coordinate with the Program Manager and be able to write deliverables contract specific to improve past performance write-ups and ensure quality and continuity are maintained.
- Assist with hiring to ensure contract is fully staffed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30PM (Other than Operational Hours: Responses to emergency situations)
Travel
This role will require up to 10% travel.
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role
- BA in an engineering or similar field
