Description

CDO DESK CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Qualifications:

1. Shall have one year of experience in the hospitality service industry or equivalent work.

2. Must be able to communicate fluently in English and have the ability to comprehend verbal and/or written transport instruction.

3. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and have excellent customer service and communication skills.

4. Must be in good health and able to perform assigned duties without physical limitation.

5. Must successfully be able to complete the following skills: oxygen transport, customer service, ergonometric and body mechanics, push and pull 40 pounds and perform proper hand washing techniques. The Government reserves the right to adjust these requirements.

6. High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency.

7. Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association. Certification must be renewed at no additional cost to the Government.

8. Work includes prolonged walking, standing, sitting or bending. Requires the ability to function in a demanding environment. Must be able to quickly adapt to unfamiliar surroundings.

9. Must possess strong attributes of customer relations and “people skills” (e.g., courteous, attentive listener, patient, strong communications skills).

10. Must possess a positive attitude and certain degree of creativity and latitude in handling difficult situations.

11. General medical ethics, telephone etiquette, excellent communications and customer service skills required.

Specific Duties/Tasks the Contract Employee Shall Perform (CDO Desk):

1. One customer service representative shall operate the Reception desk daily in accordance with the duties outline in this contract.

2. Shall Greet and welcome guests upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner

3. Understand assigned roles and respond to Hospital Emergency Code(s) Blue, Black, Orange, Yellow, Gray, Green, Pink, Gray, and White or any others that may be developed as a result of or change with contractor duties. Full operational knowledge of the Emergency Code Paging System and code procedures.

4. Answering the command duty phone, providing general information, and transferring phone calls to appropriate departments to successfully address inquiries.

5. Expeditiously facilitate and direct guests to appropriate destinations or services.

6. Report any issues related to effectively executing these duties to the supervisor.

7. Render aid to customers in need within the scope of training outlined in this contract and within Basic Life Saver Certification Standards, immediately report to supervisor.

8. Full operational knowledge of the Everbridge/AtHOC system.

9. Full operational knowledge of patient transport coordination. Assist with base access and keep records/report of all patient transports.

10. Secure weekly report of all patient transports, provide report to supervisor.

11. Secure weekly report of all language translator services, provide report to supervisor.
