Description

Required Qualifications:

  • • All personnel assigned to this contract shall possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. 
    • All personnel shall possess proficiency in computer usage and expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
    • Personnel should possess strong verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Personnel should be capable of working in a high-operational tempo environment and be able to work
    independently.
    • Specific skillsets beyond these minimum requirements are described below.
  • At least five (5) years of specialized security administrative support experience.
  • Experience working with JPAS, reviewing DD254s, and reviewing security clearance paperwork is highly desired.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Provides security administrative support to the assigned Special Security Office.
  • Assists in the review and coordination of DD254 Industrial Security requirements for CORs.
  • Assists in the preparation and upload of security clearance packages on contractors and civilian federal employees in TITAN and PS3 databases.
  • Assists in the monitoring of the progress of clearances through the security clearance and facility-access process and coordinates with SEC and partner agencies to submit monthly status checks.
  • Relays requests for additional required information on processing candidates to COR and contracting company's Facility Security Officer (FSO), then forward received information back to NMEC Security Staff for DIA Adjudication Branch.
  • Assists in ensuring contractor personnel meet the clearance requirement for contracts or notifies COR of out-of-scope investigations. Informs CORs, contract Program Manager(s), and Government Points of Contact when a proposed contractor employee has been granted a security clearance.
  • Assists in badging civilian, military and contractor personnel and with the in and out processing of personnel.
  • Assists in providing security administrative advice and guidance in developing, presenting and devising resolution to office policy and procedures.
