Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or other related field
  • Minimum of 4 years recruiting experience with federal government contracting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and utilization of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Knowledge of common HR principles, practices and metrics related to talent acquisition
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of federal and state employment regulations
  • Excellent time management and organization skill with the ability to work with little to no direction
  • Ability to apply initiative, adapt to changing requirements and work effectively in a team environment and relate well to others
  • Successful in placing high quality candidates through cold-calling and direct sourcing via use of social media technology and other recruiting tools
  • Ability to recruit in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Must be flexible and willing to take on more responsibilities as needed and devote time necessary to complete deadlines
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines under stringent timelines with efficiency and attention to detai
  • Experience cold-calling via direct sourcing of passive candidates
  • Ability to be resourceful, creative and independent problem-solver

Scheduling Details:
  • Monday-Friday (8:00a - 5:00p)

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Proactively source, identify, pre-screen and recruit quality professionals (HCPs) as defined by contractual requirements through various sourcing means
  • Evaluate candidate resumes and credentials for suitability of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to contract performance deliverables

  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyze candidate responses, verify references and compare applicant credentials to job qualification requirements and overall work scope

  • Communicate the availability of skill sets to managers; provide frequent feedback to managers on the status of recruiting activity

  • Collaborate with HR, facilitate the requisition process to ensure proper on-boarding of new hires

  • Apply strategic recruitment techniques beyond normal methods to attain passive job candidates for hard to recruit labor categories
